Puppy Kindergarten

For Puppies 8 weeks to 5 months old.  An introductory class using positive reinforcement methods. We teach you to communicate with your puppy as they learn basic obedience and socialization skills.

Skills acquired include:

• Down

• Impulse Control

• Off leash play

Classes run 55-minutes a week for 6 Weeks and start at $180

Drop-in Saturday Dog Training Class

This is a one hour class to help dog owners build a great relationship with there pet. Our positive reinforcement/reward based on-leash class will focus on your dogs manners with proximity and duration helping them to stay focused and demonstrate good behavior in the most challenging situations, all while having a good time.

Cost- $25. Per class payable online or in person at class

Prerequisites- Your dog must be prepared for class by demonstrating Basic and Intermediate Manners and have attended Basic and Intermediate classes with a professional training class or school. Up to date Vaccine records.

Class Time and Location- most Saturday’s at 10:30 am promptly, bring high value treats and a leash.

Basic Manners

A class for Dogs who have no prior training. We teach you to train your dog basic obedience cues while improving communication and practicing relationship-building exercises.

Bashful Basic Manners

The Pandemic has contributed to many dogs being under socialized and want to help. If your dog is shy, bashful or lacking socialization skills this is the class for your dog.

No minimal or basic training is necessary prior to this class. We will help you teach your dog to get more comfortable in everyday situations while also teaching basic obedience cues and improving your communication with your dog.

• Recognizing Dogs Stress Triggers 

• Learning To Avoid Stress Triggers

Intermediate Manners

Owners and dogs should have a solid understanding of Basic Manners prior to enrolling in this class (Call if you have questions about you or your dog’s ability)

Building in the basics, we help you expand your dog’s obedience skills and teach you to train your dog to maintain focus and attention in distracting environments.

This class will be fun and challenging and may be taken repeatedly.

Canine Good Citizen

Take your dog to the next level with this class. We teach you and your dog all the skills necessary to earn your AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification (CGC).

What is CGC?

• CGC is a ten-skill training program that’s open to all dogs–purebred and mixed breed–that focuses on teaching the basics of good manners and obedience, instilling the values of responsible ownership, and strengthening the bond between you and your dog at home and out in the community. 

After mastering the ten skills, passing the CGC test together, and taking the Responsible Dog Ownership pledge, you and your pup will join the proud ranks of over 1 million dogs who have earned their Canine Good Citizen award–accomplishment that is definitely worthy of extra belly rubs!
